The 116th anniversary of the birth of the Georgian ballet legend, Vakhtang Chabukiani, was celebrated with special honors.
In connection with this significant date, an emotional and impressive gathering was held at the Vakhtang Chabukiani Memorial House-Museum as part of the project – 'The Path of Georgian Ballet: From Chabukiani to Ananiashvili'.
The guest of honor at the event was the world-renowned prima ballerina, Ms. Nina Ananiashvili, who shared her professional experience, creative memories, and the unique perspectives she has gathered along the developmental path of Georgian ballet art with the audience.
The meeting was attended by students of the academy, teachers, administration representatives, and invited guests. A truly special atmosphere filled the hall—one of respect, inspiration, and deep emotion infused with a love for Georgian ballet.
The project clearly showcases the continuous creative lineage that begins with the strong foundation laid by Vakhtang Chabukiani and proudly carries on into the modern era, contributing to the global recognition of Georgian ballet and inspiring future generations.
