The students of Vakhtag Chabukiani Tbilisi State School of Ballet Art attended the public lecture of modern dance researcher, Khatuna Mzarelua,
held at the Apollon Kutateladze Tbilisi State Art Academy, within the framework of the Francophonie month, with the support of the French Institute and the Ministry of Culture,
Sports and Youth of Georgia.
Within the framework of the lecture, the ballet of one of the greatest French choreographers of our time, Angeline Preljocage - "Fresco" was shown.
In the first part of the evening - an ode to French ballet, the researcher of modern dance spoke about three historical ballets: "The Blue Train" (1924),
"Bolero" (1961, Maurice Bejart's version) and "Overcoming the Night" (2018). The second part was dedicated to the choreographer Angeline Preljocage.
Khatuna Mzarelua also presented her first book on dance - "Cafe Müller", which was published with the main financial support of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth of Georgia.
